Biography and Career:
Whitney Port is the elder daughter of Jeffery and Vicki Lyn Port. Her father, Jeff, is the owner of a fashion company called Swarm. In 2007 she completed her post graduation from the University of Southern California with a degree in gender studies.
Port began her working career with Teen Vogue in Los Angeles. In 2007 she left Teen Vogue and joined People's Revolution heavily involved in the fashion World. Because of her efforts in people's revolution she was awarded an interview with fashion label Diane Von Furstenberg. She got a job with Diane Von Furstenberg and moved to New York.
In 2008 she attended L.A Fashion Week and had her first experience as a runway model. She has also been featured in magazine covers like Teen Vogue, Rolling stone, seventeen and cosmopolitan. Port has worked into the television shows Entourage and Family Guy. She got several leading film roles; her first movie is summer 2010.
