A STAR IS BORN?

I was on the phone with my 8-year-old son earlier this evening.

"Dad, I've got some really, really awesome news!"

"Oh, what's that?

"My theater group is going to do a production of Stuart Little and I've been picked to play Stuart Little!"

As a proud Dad, I was totally bowled over. As much due to the fact that my son is so happy and that he is, well, so darned confident, as I am because he got the role.

Yes, Olivier may have left us but the performing arts live on.
