Howard Dean - Selling Desperate People On A Progressive Future
Howard Dean @ The Progressive-Fundamentalist NetRoots Conference: The Future “Does Not Belong to the Tea Party, Over 55, White and Christian” – Video
My analysis of Howard Dean's comments will be focused upon how MOST BLACK PEOPLE will take them.
Howard Dean's "Unity" is akin to the "Unity" that I have listened to in Civil Rights Pharisee Rev Joseph Lowery for the last 20 years of my adult conscious life. He doesn't want UNITY. He wants everyone to drop their foolish thoughts and come join him under his "progressive tent" - after they yield to his clearer vision. At no point in time do either of them plan to accept that their progressive theories have contributed at least some original harm that the "least of these" people now suffer from.
In hearing Democrat Howard Dean warning of a future where the present "White Supremacist" system will be necessarily dismantled Dean is merely making the case that the "Diverse Progressive Democratic Coalition" will be most representative of the fully integrated America of the future. By contrast the "Tea Party Republican Party" - the party of the White racists who don't want to evolve will lose due to attrition. This brings JOY to the Black people who have fused their "Black Community Racial Consciousness" into the American Political Domain and thus will see this as a victory. (Note - please go down the list of links on the Rippa blog to note the amazing overlap between what claims to be "Black Community-oriented" debate and straight up Democratic Party advocacy - per their focus on Republicans more than the Black community)
In short Black people and other "Vulnerable Masses" are going to be made whole as the demographics of this nation swing against the White Conservative Christian axis that America has rolled upon since its inception.
Please note - as a Black Man who is calling out the FRAUD and VACUOUSNESS in this analysis - I am a "Sellout" who is scared of "Massa Leaving Him" in the vernacular of those Black Progressive-Fundamentalists who believed that Black people got "Health Care" when the government signed Obamacare. Despite the fact that they can show little evidence of organic increase within our community after taking over our key institutions they are still permitted to render external indictments against those who call out the flaws of Progressive-Fundamentalism.
The key flaw in Howard Dean's analysis is that it speaks NOTHING about how this tip of ideological and political control is going to actually instill the attributes necessary for organic growth in America. I strongly suspect that the conditions seen in the "Mission Accomplished" cities and states AND presently in Europe will be brought to America as a whole. The racial make up of the nation will not be the vector for this demise. It is an ideology that attacks the very forces that activate the productive capacity of the working class and which loathes the capitalism that is allowing the fiat currency known as US dollar to be printed in excess of its reasonable value. With strong competitors altering the global power axis the central government model based on "Social Justice Entitlement" and "Confiscatory Taxation" will show itself to be a wrecking ball nationally - just as it has done on a more localized basis.
My biggest criticism of the Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chasers that will be smitten by Howard Dean's words and, once again - SOLD on the future as a new "organic carrot" is presented in front of them - is that they express no evidence of LESSON LEARNED. At the time that they should be stand-off-ish - demanding that they receive a plan that has the Black Community as the primary agent in its own UPLIFT and limit "Social Justice" to protection of outright RACISM instead of a vehicle for transferring the obligation for entitlement upon a larger body - they choose to look past the carnage of the last interval and trudge forward.
The post-Father's Day radio programs that I listened to on "Fight The Power Radio" showed the pain that is present among our people. This pain is a sign of desperation. A desperate person with a pot of gold in the form of a "BALLOT" and his own "CONSCIOUSNESS" is most inclined to engage in a transaction that provides temporary benefit but long term dysfunction. I have no confidence that this "just between us chickens" session - as heard on the public airwaves - will translate into any contrition about the need to change the past strategy that was enforced upon our people as a new strategy that focuses on GOVERNANCE and HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT to produce balanced communities is adopted.
Please accept this as my VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE - after watching the antics that claims itself to be "Black Community Activism".
Talk Of The Nation The Future Work Force - Grey And Brown
Transcript from the audio report above which caught my attention:
BROWNSTEIN: Yes. Yeah, and look, there's a political dimension to all of this, as well, as I have written about on other occasions. We call it the brown and the gray. When you think about it, the baby boom is the biggest demographic bulge that we've had. It is a preponderantly white generation. Eighty percent of baby - roughly 80 percent of American seniors are white. We had very little immigration into the country from 1924 to 1965.
This under 18, this under 30 generation is increasingly nonwhite. The census says 47 percent of Americans under 18 are non-white. So the class of 2012 and 2013 and 2014 will be increasingly minority. Those are the young people who are having trouble getting started.
And the political dimension is that these older, white baby boomers who are moving toward retirement have been growing more conservative, voting more Republican, expressing views more skeptical about the role of government and increasingly dubious about some of the public investment in things like health care and education that many of these younger people and their families believe is necessary for them to ascend into the middle class.
ANALYSIS:
The problem that I have with this assessment from Brownstein is that he is better able to define the demographic changes without being able to define the necessary steps to avoid the degregation of our standard of living. He mentions a loss in commitment to EDUCATION but can't bring himself to accept that today's PUBLIC EDUCATION in various MISSION ACCOMPLISHED CITIES represent the outcome of the previous strategy by Progressives to take over the system with the goal of improving it. Simply put - demographics alone along with voting power and subsequent control over the institutions has proven to NOT be the magic elixir in the fix for Black America. It is merely a prescription for the phenomenon of "We Won But We LOST"
In my opinion there is an implicit element of "Non-White White Supremacy" and "Black Inferiority" in which one talks about demographics and the oppression of the system as the primary determining factor for the present class stratification by race yet they can't bring themselves to critique the evidence of incompetence and/or HIJACKING that is clearly shown in the past "Struggle Movements" since the Post-Civil Rights Era.
If the Mexican emigrant escapes his nation of birth for greater opportunity in the United States - who among the Progressive cabal is heard distilling the key distinctions that makes America a desirable destination and Mexico a place to be departed, as they are heard PROMOTING the cause for Mexico to alter its ways so that it provides more opportunity for its people instead of shedding them? They choose to attack the institutions of the United States as they attempt to retain the integrity of the systems that have brought us abundant prosperity. The Progressive consciousness is merely serving its role as a "public defense attorney" rather than as an erector of a functional system that can endure.
Desperate Health Care In The Mission Accomplished City Of Chicago Has Not Shaken The Loyalties Of The Least Of These
In listening to this story about the failed system of public health care services in Chicago of today I am supposed to be compelled that "my people are suffering" and thus join in on the struggle for health care as a national commitment.
This ER doctor in Chicago sounds exactly like the Grady Hospital doctor that I debated in the public forum sponsored by WRFG Atlanta ("The Progressive Information Station").
He set the scene of a "Third World Nation" tucked inside of America. A "Black face" was painted upon it. A tale of:
- Vulnerability
- Desparation
- Disenfranchisement ....
The EQUAL VALUE of Black people as proven through the "Social Justice Services" was the key point to be transacted between the races and classes. (IE: If you say that BLACK PEOPLE ARE EQUAL then PROVE IT as you accept the socialistic constraints that we propose)
As I purposely insert myself into these type of forums I quickly note that their common flaw is that they NEVER ASK BLACK PEOPLE TO PROVE THAT WE VALUE OURSELVES. This fact being evidenced by:
- How much we enforce discipline and order among our valued community interior
- How much we make effective use of our institutions that are supposed to uplift us
- How much we impart to our own people the value of their own bodies
In one of the deepest understandings of the perversion of chattel slavery to hit upon me - I learned from the historical marker that Mr Cornish - an EQUAL HUMAN BEING - being trapped in the clutches of several "Slave Catcher" who were seeking to take him from Florida back to Louisiana decided that it was HIS OWN BODY that was of value to them.
As a result Mr Cornish executed SELF-MUTILATION - cutting his own biceps so he would be rendered USELESS as a "Slave". The "Slave Catchers" left him alone. This bit of "property" that was considered to be akin to a barn yard animal had the consciousness of mind to depreciate that which was of the greatest value to those who sought to impose their will upon them.
In an odd parallel today - those who claim to recognized the VALUE of Black people and then INDICT the greater society to PROVE that it values Black people equally are the villains of today. Whereas Mr Cornish saw his intrinsic value and took it away........................these "Perpetual Strugglers" know not how to assemble Black people so that our VALUE can be cultivated.
Instead the sight of the "aggrieved Black" standing in a field a-plenty and the system failing him is a poster child that can compel those who have the ultimate interest of driving their ideology forward. Only the Negro can remove himself from that poster. Failing to do so the frequent flashes of bright light will leave him blinded for another generation in which he failed to LEARN HIMSELF.
