Destroy King Stomach

The discipline of fasting releases the anointing and the blessings of God in a Christian's life.

The Lord Jesus fasted for forty days before He began the ministry of preaching, healing the sick, performing miracles. In the book of Matthew 4:1-2 it says; "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry."As you continue to read chapter 4, you see that Jesus was tempted throughout His fasting. But He overcame the temptation presented before Him.
From verse 12 we see that it was after fasting that Jesus began to work in His ministry; begining to preach, to call for the desciples, to heal the sick and performing many miracles.

Now think... if Jesus had to fast before doing the work of God, how much more about us?
Ever wondered why many miracle are not happening? Lack of prayer, lack of descipline, lack of fasting.
People give many reasons not to fast. And sometimes the person would fast but the stomach controls the him/her; kingstomach rules and the person listens to kingstomach when he says 'eat' and they throw away the anointing of God that would have came through fasting.

  • Jesus fasted for Him to do the work in the ministry of serving God
  • In Daniel chapter 10, Daniel fasted and his fast broke the power of the delayer.
  • It was during the forty day fast when Moses received the Ten Commandments.
There are many examples in the bible of people who fasted and then they saw the breakthrough, the answere through their fasting.

Do not allow your stomach to keep you away from the anointing and the blessings and the power of God, resist kingstomach - be king over your stamach. FAST!

"Fasting keeps you sensitive to His Spirit. If it does not mean anything to you, it wont mean anything to God."
