Way to the top

Someone once said, 'the way to the top is a very lonely road'. In the journey of life, we face many troubles, challenges,, obstacles and even opportunities; we meet different kinds of people. go through a lot of things that can either put us down (if we allow them) or things that can uplift and encourage us (and we can decided to do better than before).

Throughout our entire journey in life we all want to reach somewhere, we want to achieve what we have set our minds and hearts to, we want to overcome and achieve many things, however only a few are able to reach the top or get to where they want to be.

"Do you not know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24.

Those who run until the end are those who do not listen when others say, 'you won't make it', ' we are tired, are you not?', those who not listen to negative comments from those close or next to them. This is the one that runs until the end. He/she does not allow anyone to disturb their race, battle or journey of faith - these are the unstoppable, no one and nothing can put this person down. Even if the situation or journey itself presents obstacles; this runner, a man/ woman of God finds a way around the obstacles through her/his faith, because this one believes where there is a will there is a way! This runner believes that God has the power to show who is God and therefore trusts in Him. And because they did not listen to the voice of doubts, or look to the problems around them - they reach to the top even if its hard.

What are you looking at, the obstacles and the problems? Are you listening to the negative things others are saying? Are you allowing them to put you down or are you only listening to the voice of God as He cheers you on and gives you strength to move ahead. If you are listening to Him, He is already taking you to the top.

Sometimes for us to reach the top or where we want to be requires us to ignore the obstacles, doubts and only listen to Him, this journey to the top might seem loney to many. But it does not really need to be because the one you/we need the most is God and He is right here with us, right there with you and we would not reach the top without Him. We would not be overcomers, achievers, winners without Him.

Trust Him to lift you up, ask for His strength as you climb and realise that you did not get to the top without Hid. Above all, always praise Him wherever you are.
