HAPPY FLYING, BRO
A quick word on a personal note.
My brother Owen (pictured) took off on a flight around Australia earlier today. A career pilot, he is doing the trek out of his own pocket to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service -- a very worthy cause and a very important service in the big emptiness of the outback of Australia.
Also, 2010 marks 100 years since the first powered aircraft took flight in Australia.
You can read more about Owen's aerial journey around the Great South Land, track his flight, see pictures, donate to the RFDS, and more at his website: http://thereandback.com.au/
I admire his courage, altruism, and the example he is setting his four young kids. My family is very proud of him.
Good luck, good adventures, safe return, brother.
