The curtain

"At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split." Matthew 27:51


Everyone knows the life of Jesus and His death on the cross. When He said, 'it is finished' and the curtain broke into two; what does that mean?


The Lord Jesus had to finish the work He was sent to do by the Father. He had also overcame all evil and it's works in the cross by the power of the cross. It was finished with evil for that reason we need to believe in the power of the cross, which is where Jesus overcame all demons. 
The curtain was torn; everything had been broken by the power of the cross for us who believe in Him to take possession of what Jesus has prepared for us!


It is finished, the curtain has been torn - we can approach God and trust our lives in Him.
