Today is World AIDS Day. Too many people still pretend that it is a subject best not broached. Too many people think they are immune to it, that it doesn't apply to them, or they are too afraid to find out whether or not it does. HIV knows no color or economic lines. It doesn't care how you party or with whom. Untreated, it will kill you. In the U.S., an estimated 1.1 million Americans are living with HIV ─ and one out of five does not know it.
