Your wardrobe

We are what we are by the way we dress. Our dress sense spells our power in the corporate world. We should therefore try to look professional and not lose our dignity due to the way we dress!

*  Your wardrobe should co-ordinate colours that match.
* Make sure when you buy a new item it will complement something in your wardrobe. Build a wardrobe around certain colours. If you love brown, get complementary colours like beige and cream.
Your shoes, Court shoes, are for the office. Always have your shoes match your handbag if possible.
*     Never wear slip slops (push in) with a suit it looks untidy
Don't wear sandals with pantyhose it looks more awkward.
*Always manicure your nails when wearing sandals, it looks neat.
A leather handbag gives the executive look every time.
*  Always match your bottom with your shoes i.e. black skirts and black shoes.
·         Don't wear a white slip with a black skirt with a slit, it looks funnier.
·         When wearing a white top, wear a black bra it looks neater.
·         Stick to plain colours, they make you look more neat and meant for the office. If you have to put on something floral, please try by all means to match with a plain coordinating colour. Big floral marks make you look bigger. If you have to mix and match, don't put on more than three colours.
·         Fashion these days is hanky sleeved blouses with elastic trimmings on the neck; those are not meant for the office at all. Wear them to church, weddings or cocktail parties; as much as those skirts with one side longer than the other.
·         For the office, keep your jewellery simple not dangling ear rings.
·         Slack suits must have a blouse that goes down to the hip line. It makes you look more elegant and more executive. Two piece suits are good for any working day.
