In celebration of Earth Day... I researched making a rain barrel (once I couldn't find where to get one for free), composting, planting a garden in a small space, tips on water conservation, tips on recycling at home, tips on recycling at school, tips on recycling at work, and Earth Day projects and events around the world. 
In celebration of Earth Day, I will write a letter to President Obama asking him to do something to stop offshore drilling, stop nuclear power plants, stop global warming. I will also thank him for the wonderful promise he made last fall, to put solar panels back on the White House this spring, and ask him to follow through now on that promise! 
In celebration of Earth Day, I will send a card to First Lady Michelle Obama, (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20500), thanking her for planting a garden at the White House and for writing a book about it with proceeds going to charity! 
In celebration of Earth Day, will plant seeds in my own beautiful garden to grow plants that I will then give away to others. What will you do to celebrate this Earth Day? ....
