I have a signed copy of Amy and David Goodman's "Standing Up To the Madness" to give away.

I just purchased this book specifically as a giveaway -- it hasn't been read.

Amy Goodman is the driving force behind the fantastic alternative streaming news source DemocracyNow.org -- a site, with daily one-hour broadcasts, that I highly recommend.

So, how do you win the book?

I'll mail it, by standard mail, to the first person who gets my blog three (3) verified new followers.

That's it!

Follow these steps exactly, please:

1/ Get three people to sign up for my blog. If you, yourself, are not already a follower, you have to sign up AND get three other folks to sign up as well.

2/ Email me at houseonfireblog@yahoo.com, AFTER THEY HAVE SIGNED UP, and tell me who they are and who you are.

3/ Have those three people also email me at houseonfireblog@yahoo.com, mention you, and identify themselves by their blog sign-up name.

4/ If you complete those steps before anybody else, I'll email you back telling you you've won, and I'll ask you to email me your mailing address.

I'll also post a blog notice saying the book has been won.

Of course, if you get MORE than three to sign on, that would be fabulous. Unfortunately, I have no bonus bickies for ya.

Please note that you must follow the above steps exactly so that I can verify who did what and when. The book goes to the first person I can verify as the winner. And again: If you are not already a follower of the blog yourself, you must sign up in addition to getting three more people on board.
