We all know the history about the SUPPRESSION of the Black Vote as a means of allowing policies that are counter to our community interests to continue - all without the influence of Black people to force a change of course.
Few people are willing to consider the corollary truth which says that - TODAY - as we scrutinize the present set of problems within our community - we must be honest and transparent and thus look at how some forces that play upon our confidence from their inside position within our community seek to compel Black people that a greater portion of our problems are addressable via the vote than what is actually the case. The unfortunate consequence of this hijacked consciousness and focus is that the continued existence of our problems is made into a matter of our community needing stronger voting coalitions to drive home the preferred ideology and policies. These same embedded confidence men have nothing compelling them to consider the basic assumptions that they are operating upon - factoring in the notion that some problems are 'apolitical' and thus can not be fixed via the 'American Political Domain'.

It is nice to have a group of people who know me personally beyond my avatar as a blogger. They can measure my words based upon their complete character assessment of me. For some reason I am the "big picture guy" that some others on our chapter distribution list want to hear from. Instead of engaging in the transactional fray between wolves and foxes I try to frame what is actually happening so they won't be fooled. I believe that most of them are past the notion that "If he is critical of Democrats then he must be a Republican" with their assessment of me.
With this as the context I was provided with a video of MSNBC's Goldie Taylor on the "Rachel Maddow Show". I had not seen this video previously. It was recorded at the time of Obama having showed the long form of his birth certificate.
This view of Goldie Taylor - an embedded confidence man - in my opinion, coupled with her most recent rebuke of Newt Gingrich (and following Michelle Bachmann's comments that were similar) prove value to my argument. I have nothing personal against Ms Taylor but her antics are so boldly corrupt with respect to the need for the Black community to develop a clear sense of how we are to resolve our problems at hand absent the insertion of the claim of THREAT to our interests by those who have no interest in defining the PROPORTIONALITY of this threat with respect to our real world problems. It is this misalignment between the accepted talking points & emphasis by Black operatives and the real world results that far too often seem to fall short of our expectations. Without a prevailing commitment to align with these REAL WORLD TRUTHS the only possible outcome that can be expected is the manipulation of Black people by those who know how we think - because they are Black and know us well.
These are the people that the Black Rank & File need to protect our consciousness core from manipulation.
Most people don't see that these two arguments are bookends of the present problem that the Black Community faces regarding the manipulation of our consciousness and our vote by the Right and the Left. In my argument I do not deny this "Malcolm X Political Football Game" and that White Conservatives are doing what most "Progressives who are Democrats who are Black" allege (with regard to race). My argument is that THEY as embedded confidence men have brokered an alliance with the forces of the White Progressive Snarling Foxes and it is their proximity to our "Racial Consciousness Nucleus" and successful misappropriation of the "Equal Black Ballot" make THEM more contemptible and more of a threat than the wolf - who has no access to our nucleus.
Simply put - our situation is worse than what the brilliant and insightful Malcolm X had called out. About 50 years ago he warned Black people to not be fooled by the canine fight between the wolf and the fox. Today the popular "Black Racial Services Machine" elements are full partners and participants on behalf of the Fox. I do not believe that Malcolm X could have imagined in the late 50's/early 60's that so much about the consciousness and expression of forward motion for the Black community would be fused to the fox and his well being.

A Black man who is the elected President Of The United States and thus has the power to unleash the full power and violence of the American Military on the continent of Africa using some suspect claims about a "humanitarian intervention" needs the PROTECTION FROM CONCERNED BLACK AMERICANS from the RACISM by some nameless/faceless White Tea Party operatives because they are a THREAT to the interests of Black People? The Solution: Manage The Investments Of The "Equal Black Ballot" With Awareness Of The Tools That Are Most Appropriate For The Task At Hand/ Protect The "Black Consciousness" By Removing It From The Manipulations By The "American Political Domain"
The most popular tactic of the embedded confidence men is to keep Black people away from focusing upon the INCUMBENCY that they currently possess over our key institutions and instead focused on the THREAT that the popular ideological enemy to most Black people represent. None of this is accidental.
In short Black people have been conditioned to promote an IDEOLOGY, having lost the connectivity between the ideology as a METHODOLOGY or TOOL in achieving a desired end. In the disconnected state we being to act more like a "team". Thus the brilliance of the observation by Malcolm X some 50 years ago.
Since our community is not actually obtaining the desired results that were promised as Bayard Ruskin voiced the plan to fuse our Black Community Consciousness in with the American Political Domain (back in 1968) it proves that the stated goal of "controlling the Black community by controlling its politics" had NOTHING to do with delivering actual favorable outcomes. Instead this was the masterwork of a group of people who clearly had some ulterior motives in mind. They have been wildly successful in executing upon their strategy without challenge.
Nothing is going to change within our community until we install a framework of protection around our consciousness core. This is only possible by forcing those who are know political operatives out from their leveraged perch upon which they now rest. The CHOICE not to do so should also be seen as the CHOICE to express your own satisfaction with the present situation.
