Mittho tells Runjhun that whenever she talks of leaving this house goes through a dark phase as she is a fortunate one. She brings luck and happiness in the house. Runjhun says she doesn’t understand what Mittho is saying. MIttho tells Runjhun that she brings good luck to this house because of her fortune. Runjhun doesn’t believe Mittho and tells her that this is just her imagination, and it’s because she is upset about Mahadevi’s marriage, so it is her imagination. Rajju walks up to Runjhun and tells her that Mittho is telling the truth. He says whenever she talks of leaving the foundation of this house is shaken. He says that his family’s success and happiness is owed to her. Mittho says she might believe her or not, but she will explain to her.
Mittho tells Runjhun that her maternal grandparents were normal, simple people. They hit success after Runjhun was born. Runjhun asks Mittho why she’s linking their success to her fortune. She says that her uncles have done everything on their own efforts. Mittho talks about Buntu and how no one would marry him, but as soon as she stepped in this house, Buntu got married to someone like Billo. Then she tells her that the only reason Buntu’s sari shop is successful is because of her. Rajju tells Runjhun that Mahadevi had no hopes of passing. He tells her that the day she went to collect the results, Mahadevi passed, that too with such great results. Mittho asks Runjhun to think why their business is the most successful in perfumes when there are so many people in the same business. Rajju mentions Vishnu, struggling as a kid and now becoming Kannuaj’s top lawyer, which is also owed to Runjhun.
Runjhun asks Rajju how he became so superstitious. She asks them why are they giving her the credit for their success. She says they’ve raised her, and she has a life and education because of them. She had nothing to do with their success. Mittho brings in Abhigyaan Dixit into the picture and tells Runjhun when he got engaged to Runjhun, his fortune began to shine and when he broke off the engagement, his fortune took a downturn. Runjhun tells Mittho not to associate her name with Abhigyaan Dixit. She tells him he suffered the consequences of his own actions, and his failure was in fruition of what he did to her. Mittho brings in Guddu, and his mom as a reason. She tells Runjhun that Guddu’s mom got saved because of her. Rajju talks about Guddu’s success in business because of her, and Mittho adds that if she wasn’t married to guddu he would have died.
Runjhun says she doesn’t know why they are talking like this today, and tells them that everyone goes through ups and down and they are making a big deal of something that isn’t true. She says she is leaving and goes to leave when Mittho stops her and tells her that she may not believe them but she believes Guddu. She tells Runjhun that she should ask Guddu the truth as he knows she is fortunate. She says that Guddu has known her truth, and that is the reason he wants to take her from this house and away from her family. He wants to keep her for his own benefit. Runjhun doesn’t believe them.
Mittho says that Guddu hated her int he beginning and stopped at nothing to harass her. He took money from her and he made her work at his club, he even spoiled her name by closing her in the room and making people question her honor. Today suddenly he’s a changed man because of her fortune, and not because he is a man of big heart. Runjhun asks Mittho why she is linking everything to her fortune or fate. She tells Mittho that there is no misunderstanding between her and Guddu and she doesn’t believe them. Mittho says she can verify that and ask Guddu, as he’s the one who has her birth chart. She says if Guddu doesn’t say anything then she can ask Amma and tells her to ask her instead. Runjhun says that whatever they are are saying isn’t true and she leaves from there.
Mittho smiles as Runjhun leaves and says that now Guddu will know what it is to tangle with the likes of them. Vishnu comes and silently gives approval to the way Mittho spun the tale.
Amma pays her visit to the Hanuman shrine and is walking back home. She notices Guddu brushing in the corner looking worried. Amma walks up to him and asks her what is troubling him. Guddu says that the issuer egarding Runjhun’s birth chart is bothering him. He wants Amma to tell Runjhun the truth about her fortune and her birth chart. He says that he is starting a new life and he wants to start it on the foundation of truth only. He says that if later Runjhun finds out the truth, then it will be problematic as she will doubt his intentions.
Runjhun walks into her room, the words of Mittho and Rajju echoing in her mind. She says that she has full faith that Guddu wouldn’t do something like that. He won’t hide anything from her. She says she knows he’s not like that or someone to do something like that.
Guddu tells Amma that hiding from Runjhun is the same as betraying her. He tells Amma he doesn’t want to betray Runjhun. Amma tells him not to tell Runjhun as if she finds out then she won’t leave the house and go. Guddu asks Amma whether Runjhun won’t fulfill her duty as his wife and stay with him. Amma says she will but Runjhun feels indebted to her uncles and aunts and if she finds out, she won’t leave even if her life is made hell.
Runjhun thinks that she can’t believe what Mittho said because the last time the money issue was false as well. She tells herself that she shouldn’t even have any doubts about Guddu in her mind. She says that she should have full faith in Amma and Guddu but wonders why Mittho would have brought out her birth chart. She says she has to figure out why the topic came up.
Amma tells Guddu to take God’s name and throw away the birth chart and start his life new without thinking of such issues. Guddu looks unconvinced but nods as Amma leaves. Runjhun in her room is still thinking about the issue, when Amma comes and asks her to get ready quickly. Runjhun says she’s getting ready, and Amma sighs.
Mahadevi who fell asleep crying yesterday gets up with a headache, still fully clothed in her wedding garb. Kukkan walks in and Mahadevi sits up straight and wraps her colth around her. Kukkan doesn’t look at Mahadevi , and walks ups to her. He tells her that downstairs Runjhun and Guddu are leaving and asks her ot come downstairs. Mahadevi says she doesn’t want to come down, and then tells him to go from her room as he is nothing to her. Kukkan doesn’t say anything and walks away.
The mamas and mamis are sitting waiting, and Billo asks Mittho if she really told Runjhun the entire truth. Mittho says she had no choice. She says that was their only hand left. She says that she had no choice but th throw that card on the table. Kalsanwali looks happy. Amma comes and tells one of the ladies to make preparations, and check if Guddu has come or not. Kalsanwali comments that Amma is the root cause of everything. She says Amma is so happy like it’s her own farewell and not Runjhun’s. Billo says that Amma’s dream to see Runjhun leave will stay a dream. She says that Runjhun will not leave now that Mittho has played her final card.
Guddu comes with the taxi and then asks T.P. and Teelu to bring it in. He calls out for Amma and tells her he’s here and they are ready. Runjhun is in her room sitting with her parents photo and says that she hopes that everything Mittho told her was a lie because she can’t bear the thought that her leaving would bring bad fate to this house. She says she won’t be able to live thinking that she brought downfall to the house. She prays and hopes that nothing but happiness come to the Pandey House. Guddu comes calling for her then sees her with her parents’ picture. He tells her to finish packing and come downstairs. He grabs his bags and goes down.
The mamas and mamis are surprised that Guddu came down and that too with the bags. Kukkan takes the bags form him and he goes back up to grab the rest of the stuff. Runjhun puts the picture in and closes the bag. Guddu tells her to hurry up as the taxi meter is running. He leaves again and Runjhun takes her two bags and walks down the stairs.
Billo comments that Mittho’s trump ace has just been turned to a small two and Runjhun seems to be leaving. Mittho says that how would she know that Runjhun’s heart has become of stone and she could just leave. Runjhun walks down and looks at her mamas and mamis.
Precap: Runjhun gets into the car with Guddu and Amma bids her farewell. Guddu and Runjhun leave as the mamas and mamis watch from the gates.
