Evidence Of The "2011 Compromised State" Of The Black Racial Services Machine

Sometimes the facts speak for themselves.

A body of thought and consciousness which has worked for a group of people during a past interval is now shown to work to their detriment.

Such is the case with the modern day NAACP and other Black Progressive-Fundamentalist elements of the "Black Racial Services Machine".

I have shown previous letters from the NAACP to union officials who discriminated against Black people in the past in which the organization stated that the best interests of Black people was to operate as "scabs" and thus prove that they can do the job rather than stand with the bigoted unions who don't want to hire Black people. This version of the NAACP clearly were standing up for the interests of the Black community.

I have also noted that as the NAACP and other left-leaning civil rights organizations have come under the umbrella of the "Leadership Conference On Civil Rights" they have abandoned and increasing amount of the core beliefs that were present during a time in which the majority of their branches were housed in the basement of the local Black church. As their interests began to be fused with their left wing joint venture partners - the NAACP chose to dilute their position or speak where they were previously silent. Today "abortion is a Civil Right" in their view and the head of the LCCR has a new priority - "Gay Marriage As A Right".

The underlying theme as we move beyond the transactional view is clear: The Black Left is more skilled at "freeing up" the Black community from arbitrary cultural constraints than they have shown any competency in "operationalizing" organic competencies among our ranks by initiating the necessary infrastructure and internal confinements to achieve these ends.

With "organic competency development" there is a need for Black people to have knowledge of ourselves. An understanding of what "God" has created us to become as a people. With this "increase" in mind the job of our institutions is to hone our people, preparing us to live at this heightened level. We are made to believe that we need education, health and a sound economic foundation to pay for it all NOT because of our "social justice RIGHTS" but instead because these are the attributes of a people living at a high order and our daily repetitive actions are "reverse engineered" to meet the challenge.

The worst thing to ever happen to the modern day Black Community Consciousness is that it became fused to the affairs of the 'American Political Domain' and its related infrastructure and heart beat. This was the strategic decision voiced by Bayard Ruskin after the death of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr. This changed told Black people that we were going to invest our "equal ballots" and thus VOTE our way into equality. The need for "organic competency development" from the institutions that had been taken over via the vote was the key concept that was lost due to lack of understanding.

Today we have two points of evidence which shows that when this body of "ideological enforcement" is provided with a challenge which confounds its two primary goals - it often chooses its ideological foundations (methodology) over its core founding goals (helping Black people - by any means necessary).

The following two case studies show clearly that when given the choice between "Jobs by any means necessary in the South" &"Educational reform by any means necessary by supporting Black parents" versus commitment to their UNION LOYALTIES - the modern day NAACP will cleave to their union ties.

The Boeing Plant In North Charleston, South Carolina
There are few other states with a more stormy relationship with the NAACP than South Carolina.  The combination of Republican government and Confederate flags has tweaked the sensibilities of the organization.  Despite the fact that the state has one of the largest percentages of Black residents in the nation and is the anchor point of many Black families (including mine) South Carolina is often a target of protest rather than of pride for this progressive organization.

South Carolina (and the rest of the South) is a frequent target for leftist commentators like Rachel Maddow and Eugene Robinson. They are seen contrasted the "highly evolved" North with the retrograde South - demanding that the South "Lean Forward".

The South is panned for its:

  • Poor quality education
  • Low wage rates
  • Lack of health care
  • Lack of union organizing rights against management
The opportunity provided by the Boeing Corporation proves to be a net challenge to the consciousness of the NAACP and other Black Progressive-Fundamentalist groups.  The $2 billion Boeing plant sitting in North Charleston provides an opportunity for:
  • Good Jobs For Black People
  • Education For Black People To Train For High End Manufacturing Work
  • Health Care and a Generous Compensation Package

The one sticking point left is tugging at the heart strings of the NAACP.   Boeing is said to have chosen South Carolina because it is a "Right To Work State".   They don't plan to organize a "unionized work force" - similar to the nearby GulfStream Aircraft plant in Savannah GA.

Over the weekend I was reading the left wing magazine "Dollars and Sense" and noted a term for what Boeing is doing - "Double Breasting".    "Double Breasting" is when a corporation seeks out a "right to work state" to set up shop in as a means of bargaining leverage against their union controlled facilities in strong union states.   It appears that the NAACP is of the belief that it is more important to stand with their union local workers in the lily White state of Washington than consider the opportunity lost for the state of South Carolina and all of the subordinate businesses and suppliers that will be incubated in the area.

With the South being dotted with a mass of automotive manufacturers that don't use union labor - something is strange as to the NAACP's silence on the issue of Boeing - in South Carolina.

From the article:

There are two ways to look at our big city public schools. The first way is to see them as institutions that give our children the tools they need to make their way in society. When the education is good, it is a great equalizer for those boys and girls without the advantages of wealth or social standing.
The second way to look at our big city public schools is this: as a vast jobs program for teachers.
Those who assume the first view find it hard to understand why it is so difficult to fire bad teachers, pay the good ones more, or close down failing schools. In the same way, they cannot understand why one of the nation's oldest and most venerable civil rights organizations—the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People—would be suing with the United Federation of Teachers to stop New York City from closing about two dozen of its worst schools and opening charters. Even the Washington Post, which ran a terrific editorial criticizing the NAACP, called it a "mystifying decision."
The truth is that the decision is not in the least mystifying. For those who understand that our big city public school systems have become jobs programs for teachers and administrators, the NAACP's response makes perfect sense. That's because there are many African-American teachers in these systems, many of whom presumably belong to the NAACP.
Yes, there are political and ideological affinities between the organizations. The NAACP has long been a key part of the same Democratic coalition of which the teachers unions are the most powerful component. Yes, on the 990 Forms filed by, say, the National Education Association you will find the occasional contribution to the NAACP. The NAACP, however, does not have to be bribed.
The reason is simple: The NAACP is doing in New York what the United Federation of Teachers is doing, and for the same reason: protecting the interests of its members.

This stance by the NAACP in New York shows me one thing:  The IDEOLOGICAL binds are stronger than the OPERATIONAL competencies and vision.

Simply put - the educational system is not just for the benefit of the school children and their parents who seek quality education.
Instead:

  • Schools & their related Administrations are a projection of political power
  • The school curriculum is a matter of ideological conquest
  • The governance of the public school (centralized versus charter) and vouchers
Long story short - all of the affairs of the adults who intersect with the educational system are prioritized over the basic concerns of the children.  The methodology of how children should be educated is more important than the question of if they are being sufficiently educated.

When the best laid plans that are now in the hands of favorable people fall short of their delivery targets - the fundamentalists are unwilling to ponder the efficacy of their methodology.  Instead they double down and "try harder" to make what they are committed to to work.

This is the case with the "Government Operated Schools".

Since charter schools are often lead by parents or require far  more involvement by the parents - we should ultimately consider the CONFIDENCE that the opponents of charter public schools have in the PEOPLE who they claim to want to uplift.
