This post will surely strain the thawing in the relationship between "race man" Chauncey DeVega and myself with reference to his appreciation of this picture here:
I am not bombastic for the sake of exercise.
One can't transparently observe the antics of Black people who are acting in the name of the "Promotion of the Best Interests Of The Black Community", only to make note that they are merely pursing their ideological interests inside of the "American Political Domain".
My trip to Philadelphia last week and my observations therein shook some clarity in my vision of the forces that actually stand against the ATTAINMENT of the standard of living for our community that is in line with our desires.
The evidence of the misalignment of our motion is NOT explained away by the POPULARITY that one can point to. This is a circular reference. If anything it merely shows that the masses of Black people are COMPLICIT in the present circumstances in which we can't seem to organize a set of "equal human resources" that can provide sufficient uplift as desired.
It is this "congregational complicity" that allows those who lead us forward for a time that is sufficient for us to appraise their results to then turn around and LEAD US SOME MORE - so that they don't have to stand accountable for the squandered results that are radiating out of the INSTITUTIONS that they control. The same institutions that once were the meeting places for our mass protests are now the places who's occupants in the seat of power bring us PRIDE.
They would have us to use their presence in the seat of power as EVIDENCE in and of itself of their success. We as a people cannot be fooled. It is the RESULTS as evidenced by the condition of the masses of Black people who interact with these institutions that must be the measure of their success. Failing this - Black people will continue to be sucked in to their quest for power within the "American Political Domain". Our SILENCE over their failures to delier is the evidence that our "Permanent Interests" have been put into escrow so that our present day marches won't hurt their chances of reelection. In this perverted state - since their PRESENCE is evidence of the success of their plan - it stands to reason that the reelection and continued power of this machine is further evidence of this success. This being the case - as long as you choose to play along with them.
Equal Human Beings With The Same Greatness And Flaws
What "congregational complicity" allows them to agree to (shifting the focus over to David Vitter and Clarence Thomas - because Rachel Maddow told them to) also hides a damning truth:
They Have No ORGANIC Threshold Of Standards That Live And Breath Away From The Oxygen That The Fight With Their ENEMY In The American Political Domain Instructs Them To Enforce
Those who purport to be "Self-Actualized" are, in truth, cogs in the wheel of the machine.
It stands to reason what while they are prone to talk about the "Present Affairs" in Politics - the one conversation that they are LOATHED to talk about is the one that bears the truth about what is going on "WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY".
Their reaction to this sight is akin to their reaction when their credit card statement is delivered to them each month in the main: They are placed in a disconcerted state because they realize that they are:
- Over drawn on their credit
- Have not done enough to pay their previous commitments down
- The Interest payments to their debtors on the DEEDS LEFT UNFINISHED after they previously convinced themselves to make the purchases that appear on their statement - are the most CORROSIVE agents that are snatching away their future earning potential as "Operators for their future Organic Production Capacity" within.
