As I appraise the depths to which a squadron of "Embedded Confidence Men" will go to selectively direct the conscious attention of Black people toward a given direction - I am forced to revise my depth meter.
For some strange reason the man in POWER - at a time when the vital statistic of Black America are eroding faster than the property value of our home mortgages is less worthy of the careful attention of the "Obama Fist Bump Press" than a Black man who they admit - has never held an elective office.

Today I vow that I have the same POWER to reach into the documentary trail and pull up the promises made by Obama in 2008 and publish them on the web - just as the "Obama Fist Bump Press" will NOT do. The best way to appraise the transparency of the "Obama Fistbump Black Press" is to appraise how willing they are to SCRUTINIZE this document that once appeared on the Obama Campaign's web site - FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY rather than from an Obama Supporter. (Like the Root.com's Cord Jefferson did in his 6 part series on how Obama has CHANGED Black America just as he said he would - just prior to the 2010 elections).
Ironically there are more promises and marketing about "what Obama is going to do for Black people" that are stored in the original articles from the "Obama Fist Bump Press" members than we can find emanating from the Obama official campaign literature.

I have to give credit to Commander In Chief Obama. Him sending out invitations to Oliver Willis and the "Black Progressive Unity Bloggers" - allowing them to achieve the peak of their journalistic careers by coming to the White House and being in the same room as the main recipient of their graft - was a rather low cost effort to purchase their column space for his benefit.
Commander In Chief Obama understands Black people very well. No one is surprised that "Progressive Political Preacher" Rev Al Sharpton has said publicly that he does not plan to criticize Obama - thus pulling the batteries out of his 'Speak Truth To Power" bull horn.
