Tavis Smiley Presents - "WHITE WOMEN Hold The Future Of The Black Community In Their Hands"

I was not prepared for that line in the early part of "Tavis Smiley Reports".

The argument that was made stated that since 80% of public school teachers are White females the bulk of the educator who made this statement is spent with them.  Thus, he said "The future of the Black community rests in the hands of White women".

I could not disagree more.

• This says nothing about the Black Parents who manage the academic careers of their own children
• This says nothing about the body of Adults in the community who's vested interests are to advance good governance policies within their own communities and to develop a system that addresses kids that fall through the cracks in which their own parents aren't there to execute their parental and managerial duties
• This says nothing about the School Administrators who were elected by the Black community to properly govern the resource that most claim is "The Great Equalizer"
• This says nothing about the Black Racial Services Machine who drive public policy initiatives and direct "Black Consciousness" and voting investments

I am not discounting  the good works of White females or any other person who has a JOB in the teaching profession. 

I am making an affirmative argument that - with the preparation of our children by sculpting them academically why was this task (seemingly) outsourced to "White Women" serving in the role of public school teachers?

With the rap on "White Missionaries In Africa" as it is - why is it that the resource of the education of our children is not seen as more of a community oriented responsibility?  I said community and not government.  The government will only ever be a facilitator of the education system.  The process of education is what transpires inside of these facilities.
