Failed Jobs Creation May Produce European-Style Riots In The USA

Bloomberg: Jobs crisis could spark riots here

I am on record as saying that the primary reason why we have not yet had massive economic riots here in America is because those who are most prone to such protests do not want to transact in a national protest that would hurt the incumbent President - Barack Obama.

We have thus far seen targeted protests in the wake of the agitator's knowledge of who they are focusing on.   Instead of broadly attacking the government at a  time of great economic malaise:
  • Michael Moore and friends were seen holding a protest on Wall Street a few years ago
  • Follow the MSNBC remote broadcast and you can see that Wisconsin and now Michigan are popular venues for labor protests against their Republican governors - with threats against nearby Ohio being next
  • The "Neo-March For Jobs And Justice" - orchestrated by the Black Left was to focus on their enemies in the US House who stand against their progressive friend in the White House
In all of these cases the leftists are intently aware that they are not "Speaking Truth To Power", instead they are "Speaking Progressive Rhetoric Walking Past Their Powerful Incumbent Friends To Talk About Their Enemies".

From an architectural perspective - these operatives are loathed to mention that at this point 30 years ago their struggle centrally focused upon obtaining control over the local institutions of power so they leftist, pro-labor policies could take over all of the labor policy and educational institutions.  Not wanting to do the necessary introspection and recalibration of their entire struggle - they choose to keep marching, increasingly having to walk around the buildings that their friends occupy in the power structure in order to find an enemy encampment for them to UNIFY around in protest.

If only their rank & file followers could see the big picture in how they are being used.

Just a few short years ago Europe was the reference of what America could only hope to be one day in the name of Social Justice.
