I have to admit - I grew up in a Black household in which these three portraits were hanging on the wall in my father's private space.
Before there was an "Obama Commemorative Plate" (made in China) mounted over the fireplaces of Black folks - these portraits were standard fare on the walls of Black folks.
The news that John F Kennedy's wife, Jacqueline Kennedy was heard slamming Dr King during an interview after her husband was murdered is still bothering Black people.
An interview on the "Tom Joyner Morning Show" featuring King's lieutenant, Andrew Young sparked a conversation on a local "fight the power" Black-wing talk radio station. While Young was defensive of Mrs Kennedy, stating that such words are "out of character" - the conversation heard later in the day showcases the conundrum faced by Black Americans. One caller in particular encapsulates the ironies.
On WAOK AM's "Fight The Power With Derrick Boazman" - a caller noted that:
- Robert Kennedy did not like MLK
- RFK ordered and allowed the FBI to run all of the wiretaps placed upon King and other civil rights leaders
- COINTELPro was alive and well during the Kennedy Administration
- They tried to get King to commit suicide by threatening to release the private conversations that they obtained through illegal means.
- The Kennedys we RIGHT WING racists (Really?) who were bent upon destroying the Black Power movement
- (The caller claimed that) John Lewis was working to support Robert Kennedy's election when he was assassinated
- (The caller claimed that) The Kennedy's handed some money to the King family after Dr King was assassinated as a means of purchasing their loyalties.
With all of these points being argued - how does one reconcile these facts with the present day "Joint-Venture Partnership" between the Black Racial Services Machine and the Cheshire Foxes who are the modern day instantiation of the Kennedys?
In my estimation no other Kennedy, no elected official in power in the last 50 years has done more damage to the Black Community Organic Independent Consciousness than did the 3rd Kennedy that survived his two brother - Senator Ted Kennedy.
The more he "helped" Black people - the more we lost our consciousness and began to VOTE for our community uplift. Ted Kennedy stood in the doorway to receive the Black Civil Rights Pharisees as they brought baskets of "Equal Black Ballots" collected from the Black community to his front door steps.
If "the apple never falls far from the tree" -WHAT revolutionary process made Ted Kennedy radically different from the thoughts and indoctrination of his two brothers?
From my estimation - as with the union movement - once it became unfashionable to openly discrimination against Black people AND the "Black Ballot's" equality was regulated by the federal government - Ted Kennedy saw profit in stringing along Black people with the promises of "Social Justice" at the hands of the cascading rungs of government in exchange for the community's investments. He arranged to have the key Black leaders to conspire along with him to harvest Black ballots for his leftist cause.
No wiretapping of King can trump the WIRETAPPING OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY'S "CONSCIOUS CORE" done by their brother Ted and his Negro "Spooks At The Door" working from the inside.
It will take decades to repair the damage done.
