Dear Rep Allen West - Please Drop The Slave Analogies For Black People

Rep Allen West -

I am compelled to be consistent on this important issue.
If we are ever going to get past the sight of a Black man and noting a "slave" then there is a need to engineer better analogies and metaphors.

The fact is that your points are inaccurate in regards to Blacks and the Democratic Party.

I listen to Black political discourse extensively. The more accurate statement is that the "Black Racial Services Machine" has scraped out all of the "conscious stem cells" from our Black Consciousness and replaced them with the Democratic Party talking points and goals. If you listen to Black-Wing talk radio, Black Progressive written opinion and the "MSNBC Negroes" - you will understand that there is no longer an "ORGANIC Black Community Development Consciousness".

Thanks to integration we only have a "Black Progressive Political Struggle" that has been fused to the Democratic Party vehicle. This is what you are hearing.

The Black community at present does not have a TRANSPARENT and INDEPENDENT "Financial Adviser" that is defending the interests of the Black Community. Our mistake is that the "executive effort" of a METHODOLOGY (Progressivism) has been fused to the "policy making and measurement" entity, resulting in entropy for our community. Those who are "embedded confidence men", piling up a series of failures for our people after they have compelled us to INVEST into their cause - simply continue the STRUGGLE, blaming their enemies for their failures to deliver for Black people.

Simply put - the Black community has a GOVERNANCE problem. The congregation of people who are most aggrieved - their words of frustration are easily heard - also are unwilling to step back and make the fundamental changes that protect the INTEGRITY of their Black Community Institutions - the changes that they expect will be slow in coming.

They are more interested in defending their ideology and the operatives that will carry it forward into the "American Political Domain". Having slayed Malcolm X and his warning about the fusion of our cause into the "American Political Football Game" they are proud to be starters on the Special Teams.

Rep West - though you are only one member of the Congressional Black Caucus that is not a Democrat - one of two Blacks in the federal legislature and executive who is not a Democrat - you are more scrutinized by people with the consciousness described above. The people are't interested in assigning PROPORTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY, asking those who they INVESTED IN to produce. Instead they are interested in satisfying themselves that YOU are a part of the "Team" that is harming Black America.

It is this consciousness which has taken over the attributes of a "Team" rather than that of a group of "Managers" with EQUAL HUMAN RESOURCES that need to be shaped into the form that we need them to be for success.

Still - you initiated this with your "Slave Analogies".
We are not on a plantation today. We are merely experiencing a fatal hijacking of the 'Black Community Development Consciousness'. This is the problem.
