Lessons From Libya - When The American Left & Right Are In Agreement You'd Better Hide Your Wallet

(Please Tell Me That I Am Lying)

As I have sampled the news from various sources regarding the reporting fall of the "Gaddahfi Regime" as the Rebel Force, who are now recognized as the official government of Libya by the American Imperialists and the 3 African Colonialists, make their advancement upon the capital city of Tripoli.

In these rare events that occur about as often as a total eclipse of the sun - the American right-wing and the American-left wing are largely celebrating the "ends" which have occurred - Moammar Gaddahfi, The Dictator Of Libya Is Out Of Power.

Of course it is the case that behind this surface agreement is a domestic shooting war among the American combatants.

  • The American Right-wing (purported Warmongerers) where happy with the results of the bombing invasion of the sovereign nation of Libya but criticized Obama for being too late, and "Leading from Behind".

  • The American Left-wing (purported Peacenicks) where happy that a "torturing dictator" has been toppled and many of their blogs point to the right-wing American criticism of Commander In Chief Obama as proof that THIS PRESIDENT is "being treated differently for some reason" as they wonder out loud what the key attribute he has different fro the previous 43.

As for myself - a self-proclaimed right-of center Black man - I chose to part company on this issue early on.   I see this as an imperialist invasion upon the continent of Africa.  The claim that this was a "Humanitarian Protection Mission" as voiced by Commander In Chief Obama was fraudulent from the start.  That was merely a cover for what the forces that operated with the cover of a UN mandate and the logistical command of NATO had in mind to do long before Gaddahfi "threatened" his people about what he would do if they were to rebel against the government.

As we consider the analysis of this latest American incursion some people seek to make this all about LOGISTICS:
  1. Obama was slow in acting

  2. Obama carried this out in 156 days without any loss of American life - like in Iraq and Afghanistan

In BOTH CASES they glide past the sticky subject of JUSTIFICATION and instead continue their domestic ideological civil war.

By now it is a foregone conclusion that the United States - which spends more on its military than the entire rest of the world combined - can defeat approximately 98% of the world's nations using her military power.  The other 2% have sufficient weapons that assure "mutual destruction" which would make the task more difficult.

Of course 80% of the nations around the world have no resources of value that would be of interests of the United States or former Imperialist Colonizers to focus upon.   Even at the height of colonialism - it was NOT ABOUT THE PEOPLE.   The ultimate goal was the productive resources of interests in commerce.  The people were only of interest in the context of their value as labor to tend to these productive resources to be traded.

What is stunning to me is that the same people who articulate how "the world has not substantively changed" since the days that the "Mystical Magical African Culture" was STOLEN - are the same people who can't see what the sweet melodies of integration has caused them to lose the consciousness about themselves.

This loss of consciousness is readily seen as Black people are compelled to "stay huddled together" despite the obvious strategic failures that have impeded our growth as the Embedded Confidence Men keep dangling in front of our eyes what the adversary is doing.   With this some Black people can be compelled to do the unthinkable.

For me - I can't shake from my mind the lifetime of conversations with "Black/African Nationalists".   In various college settings I was made to understand that "Any nation of color that dares raise its head in defiance of the Eurocentric Imperialist Powers will have its head smacked off with an assortment of military, economic and cultural weapons used to put it back in its place.

According to NATO's own reports:  17,000 bombing runs have been made over the sovereign nation of Libya to protect its people from Gaddahfi in the name of humanitarian aid.

If one aircraft can carry 4 bombs - it is reasonable to conclude that 68,000 bombs have been dropped on Libya by NATO in 6 months worth of fighting to assist the rebel forces.  Various media reports tell us that the infrastructure of Libya has been destroyed.  Ironically - another report details how the families of the victims of the Lockerbe Bombing appeared to be pleased that Gaddahfi has met his match.  Justice has been served after all of these years.

Just as I attempt to develop an equation to model the value of one "White Hate Crime murder" to the quantity of similar murders at the hands of a Black Street Pirate - it is a similar question to ask how many Libyan people and relative infrastructure is equal to one plane load of people and 747 that was destroyed?

Over time "Asymmetric Wars" have been condemned.  More recently Israel's bombing of Gaza.  Throughout history the colonial Americans battling the Native Americans have been used as examples.   Even the nation of Panama seceding from Colombia and then instantly being recognized by President Theodore Roosevelt who's interest was in building the Panama Canal appears in the "People's History Of The United States" as a condemnatory act.

In the case of Libya - the fact that no NATO forces were required to place their "boots on the ground" and thus risk death was brought up.  Some of these same people were previously heard demanding massive cuts in the American military so that she could no longer wage imperialist wars.

What is clear is that with the right "Commander In Chief" in power - those who are not well grounded can be lulled into doing many things as they are unable to see the gross contradictions in all that they do.

This Man Expresses Bigotry As He Hides Behind The Christian Bible To Execute The Oppression That Our Ancestors Were Well Aware OfBut This Man Has The Actual Power To Command The US Imperialist Forces Into Action. He Doesn't Need To Be A Bigot. He Has A Swarm Of Ideological Bigots Who Provide Cover For Him. Just Don't Refer To Him As A "Muslim" Or "African" And His Bigots Won't Come After You

AFTER ALL - The Commander In Chief's Actions Are Justified Per The Evidence That The People Of The Nation Where The Bombs Were Dropped Show Love For Him Per This Image.

The African Colonists of the past also had their images well represented.
