"Democrats Who Are Black" Seek To Have It Both Ways On "Voting For Your Race" When They Are Really Voting Ideology For The Most Progressive Black

BET.com: Blacks Continue To Lose Political Power In California

As a critical observer - I can't think of one major public policy issue in which a White or Hispanic Progressive elected official is ill-equipped to sufficiently address the viewpoint of the Black Progressive-fundamentalist politico.  Indeed on the US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg does a better job at capturing the Black Progressive case for justice than does the man who has the skin color that serves as only a partial qualifier.

Since the preponderance of evidence bears my claims - the real question is "What is it that the 'Black Progressive Racial Services Machine' is really struggling for?"

I could have written certain passages out of the BET article for I have been saying the very same thing for years per my own observations:

  1. Progressive wins in "Mission Accomplished Cities" (San Francisco and Oakland) should not be mistaken for Black community advancements.  In fact these interests can up eroded as certain policies that are initially supported by Blacks are actually implemented and yet fail
  2. Though Black Ideologues (like Dr Ron Daniels and Joe Madison) like to argue that the real battle for Black people is not "Democrat vs Republican" but instead is "Conservative vs Progressive" - their choice to always place the "CONSERVATIVE ON TRIAL" and demand that their debate adversary tell what the conservative has EVER done for Black people - fails to make note of the "Portfolio Statements" which she the great amount of investments of "Equal Black Ballots" and the fused "Black Community Uplift Consciousness" as they are forced to explain the "shrinkage" before another bit of our resources are put into their inventory as a consignment for our community uplift
  3. The "Black Flight Progressive" is increasingly seen departing the "Mission Accomplished Cities" where he help to erect or continue the progressive establishment - to actually (and ironically) obtain his Permanent Interests as a Black person - while living in a more conservative suburbs
    1. Those who claim victory in that the suburbs are protected by "Civil Rights Laws" are loathed to note that within the inner city is an abundance of "Civil Rights Violations" that are not called 'Civil Rights Violations' for no other reason than the race of the assailant
  4. Section 5 of the Civil Rights Act does not sufficiently match the migration patterns of Black people who are pursuing opportunity
    1. The reference to "expanded voting districts" in the story sounds strangely like my sarcastic accounts of what Chicago's Danny Davis plans to do to ensnare some of the 180,000 Blacks who have departed his fair city over the last decade.
The most ironic (and foreboding) point of the BET article is their acceptance of the "Identity Politics" that strongly influences elections in San Francisco - and other progressive dominated environs.   While they all are progressives and are good for a national vote - they are seen splintering into factions when we note their behavior locally - (Hello "Brick City").

With this BET article ADMITTING that the cornerstone for the Black Progressive Struggle has not been addressed:
  • Failing Schools
  • Inferior Low-Income Housing
  • Lack Of "Safe Streets" within the Black community
..................few of the operatives who lead our community down this course will care to note the irony of "Winning but Losing".  Instead they will double down and struggle more.

From The Article
Elsewhere, in Southern California, political redistricting has other African-American politicians as worried as Cohen in San Francisco. The new district map will be released Friday, and many Blacks in California politics are paying close attention to how things shake out. The reason is that the Latino population in Los Angeles is growing while the Black population is shrinking, with more Blacks headed to the suburbs. It’s a strange irony: Blacks are integrating white suburbs, a gain, but also losing political power by leaving and diluting once powerful Black voting districts. "Because [Blacks] are less segregated now, it makes it harder to draw districts around them to preserve their voting power,” a redistricting expert told the Chronicle.
...................California has long been a state known for its inclusiveness and diversity. It’s absolutely important to make good on that promise.

Analysis - Using Black People To Achieve A Greater End That Is Not Our Own

That paragraph up above pissed me off.
With the face of "diversity" the author appears to have soured on the "Progressive Joint Venture Alliance" that "the Blacks" had faithfully assembled.  Now that the Progressive dominated governments of California are "looking less like the face of America" - it is AGAIN RACE that they call out - while looking past the near homogeneous IDEOLOGY of these bodies which is more askew than what the rest of America looks like.

We now see that DIVERSITY is not synonymous with "Black Community Prosperity".  In fact DIVERSITY, once molested for the marginal benefit of a select group - is merely a carefully placed indictment against the status quo so that a small opening can be made and then sealed back up thus blocking others from entering.  A disarmament tool if you will.

Here we see an author that is so much more interested in "Black progressive representation" in a Progressive political body that .........................

(WAIT A MINUTE!!!   I just flipped back to the article and looked at the byline.   I did not realize that the author was my friend Cord Jefferson from The Root.com until I started to pin my closing comments.  NOW I UNDERSTAND.   This is a true account - I had no idea that this was a Cord Jefferson masterpiece)

.......Cord Jefferson seems more interested in having Black Progressive representation than he is bothered that the "Black Flight Progressive" ultimately had to leave town in order to actually receive what they had been struggling to obtain for a long time.

What does the progressive estimate is going to happen after unchecked illegal immigration further dilutes the voices of Black people?   WHO will they blame for this grand strategic error?   What is wrong to ask that everyone follow a prescribed process for entry into this nation as citizens?

The sad truth is that despite the enumeration of the consequences upon our community - those who lead us will suffer no harm to their position.

Mr Jefferson - why didn't the community receive the promised benefits from their investments that you and other Progressives had sold to them as the quid pro quo for their votes?
