Member Of Congressional Black Caucus Targeted As A "One Term-er" Those Targeting Him Avoid Being Called "Racists"

For JingOists the universal point of obfuscation away from the results delivered by the Obama Administration and toward the "real enemy" is the fact that (evil, racist) Republicans are intent upon making Obama a "One Term President".

This point is brought up on a continuing basis to their readers, reminding them to look past the deluge of disappointing data that too often falls short of "Hope & Change" and instead focus upon the conspiracy that is in place to bring about "Obama's Waterloo".

From this inference we (Black folks) are asked to "stay united. stay focused on the big picture". "THEY want us fighting against each other as the results obtained under Obama are questioned", we are told.

The news clip above is from "Democracy Now". It appears that the president of the "National Organization Of Women" is intent upon making Rep Allen West (D-FL), member of the "Congressional Black Caucus" a "one-term-er", just as Obama's enemies are seeking for him.

The key difference between Obama and West is that the Black Progressive largely agrees with the sentiments stated by NOW. Many will be seen working to oust West so that he is no around to "darken the doorway" of the US House.

Later on in the interview the NOW President goes on to say that she would like to see more women in Congress, in the budget debates so that "Women's perspectives" are represented. Of course we all know that, just like "Black Progressives" she is not talking about "More Women in Power". She wants "More Progressive Women In Power". She admits as much as she notes that her task is to work with "reasonable men in power" and have them to vote in a way that is favorable for women. She means HER progressive viewpoint on what is best for women. It goes without saying that a conservative woman who doesn't see her viewpoint is less desirable than a progressive-left-wing man who has a "100% voting record" on the NOW's legislative report card.

What Did Allen West Say?

The irony of the "Democracy Now" interview (the full interview) is that they argued that women would be harmed in these austerity cuts while they focused on the REPUBLICANS who were against the government's distribution of more free services to women.    In the context of this theme they showed a clip of Rep Allen West and made the case that it was ridiculous for him to blame "Progressive Women" for the budget deficit - they blamed a series of Republicans for the cuts that would have a devastating impact upon women.

It is not the CUTS that are the threat.  The large threat to women and all other Americans is the actuarial charts that project the fiscal condition of the big three entitlement programs and the federal government's balance sheet in general.

If they were to oust every Tea Party agent in the nation and promote the Democrats into all three branches of power - the long term fiscal outlook for the United States would STILL be unsustainable.  They would merely impose a confiscatory level of taxation as a means of delaying the day of reckoning .
