A JETHRO TULL MOMENT

Remember when rock and roll was rebellious and actually said something?

Most Saturday mornings I play my rock albums and hit the Net.

So, this morning I'm on Facebook posting my comments about Verizon cheating its striking employees, corporations in general, and how to mess with them. Well, below is a post I wrote that explains the rest:

Talk about irony. Sitting here writing about corporations -- or Satan's building blocks, as I like to call them -- and I'm listening to Jethro Tull's classic "Aqualung" album. Then, this couplet: "In your pomp and all your glory, you're a poorer man than me/ And you lick the boots of death born out of fear."

You gotta love it. Coincidence? Yes. But rock and roll has often taken the rebellious road and we're the better for it.

Now, as you were. :-)
