The U.S. Supreme Court has delayed the execution of Troy Davis.
At literally the last minute the Court decided on the delay to consider a stay of execution on the appeal of Troy Davis' lawyers. This is not a stay, it is a temporary delay that it is hoped will result in a stay of execution.
