Few people would string all of this together without the analysis of a person who is keeping a watchful eye on all of these interconnected events.
Fulton County Georgia
An oblong shaped county which is the container for the City of Atlanta (a small portion of the city also hangs into Dekalb County).
Fulton is an amalgamation of the old "Milton County" to the north and "Campbell County" to the south. They all merged onto the small "Fulton County" during a time of economic hardship in the South.
With such a large county scattering through many different communities politics are the #1 produce from the county. Though there is no solid "rich / poor" or "Black / White" dividing line because both can be found everywhere in the county - it is generally accepted that the norther part of the county is the "White part" and the southern part of the county is the "Black part".
In a past job I had the Fulton County School System and County government as one of my clients. The general policy was that any products or services introduced in one part of the county (the schools) had to be introduced in the other part of the county or claims of:
- Racial Discrimination - from the Blacks in the south that Whites were getting an advantage would be heard
- Income Redistribution - from the Whites in the north of the county would be heard - as they claimed their high property taxes paid where being siphoned out of their area and results in poor government services and responsiveness
A bad marriage indeed.
Any time there is an election in the county for the "at large seats" - the county chairman, by definition - is at large - there is a RACIAL angle thrown in. We are highly likely to see John Lewis, Andy Young, Joseph Lowery or some other Civil Rights Pharisee do a commercial telling of the "police dogs" and "fire hoses" that might come back out IF the "northern candidate" wins the election. Black folks must come out and VOTE FOR THEIR RACIAL PROTECTION.
When They Get Too Comfortable In Their Mission Accomplished Zones
Having secured the majority on the Fulton County board - it appears that two progressive Democrats - Chairman John Eaves and commission Emma Darnell have apparently lost their focus regarding what is IMPORTANT. They are seen fighting over a MUTE BUTTON for the chairman to cut off the microphone.
Ms Darnell is a "Social Justice" firebrand and I am sure that she is not going to let this point of "disrespect" go without some consequences.
This is why the OTHER TWO videos are important.
If you watch the video which talks of the massive drop in property values in the southern part of the county - we hear Chairman John Eaves promising to help the south with its ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT so that its tax base might be restored. Keep a book mark on that one.
In the northern part of the county - as the map in the news report shows - the cities of:
- Sandy Springs
- Milton
- Johns Creek
are all recently christened cities. This was once a large unincorporated area. The residents paid their property taxes to the county and the county apportioned the money per the priorities of the county commission.
The citizens in the area fought for a city charter so that they could pay their property taxes locally - and have the benefits applied proximately.
The Civil Rights Pharisees (both elected, those who stand in the pulpit and those who are associated with an organization) said that by allowing these places to INCORPORATE - a RACIALLY DISPARATE OUTCOME would be had by the Black folks in South Fulton.
I reported on the lawsuit filed by a group lead by the "King Of The Pharisees" - Rev Joseph Lowery.
Organic Competency Development vs The Struggle
You and I both know that if Chairman John Eaves does not add a penny to the pot of economic development on the south side that he will suffer no consequences in the mind of the average Black voter. Instead he only needs to continue to team with the Civil Rights Pharisees - and look NORTHWARD and WHITE-WARD - focusing in on what the White folks are scheming on - and pretending that they are defending Blacks from the results of their "Klan-ification efforts".
Sadly, shamefully, depressively - this WORKS.
In the "MSNBC Consciousness" about Black America - we are made to focus on White Folks and Republicans. This is why I heard Rep John Conyers and Bev Smith talk about the Republican presidential line up BUT when it came time for Conyers to detail about the "We Black Folks Need JOBS" meeting with Commander In Chief Obama - the segment ran out of time and she said that she'd have to bring him back another time to get the details.
When I point out the power of "Non-White White Supremacy" you can put a stamp on it.
In their priority focus they show THEIR PRIORITIES.
They realize that beyond their rhetoric and their ability to acquire elective offices, occasionally forming joint ventures with Progressive Snarling Foxes - that their main weakness remains their inability to DEVELOP ORGANIC COMPETENCIES within our community - tapping it as a reservoir of resources.
Few people are willing to circle back around and notice that those who have control over our institutions - after having STRUGGLED to obtain control - so they could educate us and improve us - STAND TODAY with their "Mission Accomplished" as they have sold it to us - YET the fundamental benefits have not transpired. The elements that required something other than the contribution of the "Equal Black Ballot" and the "Vicarious Connection" to all of the RACISM that the said politician had to face as he put forth the "Black Agenda" that just HAPPENED to be a "Progressive / Confiscatory" agenda received backlash from those who are said to be racist, unwilling to share so they don't lose their ESTABLISHMENT POWER and advantage.
It is time for our community to note WHO is the "Establishment Power" today and how they are able to use their POLITICAL advantage in the American Political Domain but have failed to deliver INCREASE because they have squandered the more important "Community Cultural Consciousness & Competency Development Domain".
