Despite this being the case I am forced to fault Prof Cornel West for the use of "racial accessories". THESE are the points that the "JingOists" are focusing upon as they:
- Doggedly avoid the core arguments that West has put forth. (OBAMA IS the "Commander In Chief" of the "American Killing Machine"!!!!)
- Key In Upon The "Racial Slights" posited by West as a means of throwing away the entire package.
The Dishonesty Of The Black Progressive-Left In Regards To Obama
This past week I had to "catch myself". In listening to what I heard on "Fight The Power Radio", unable to rationalize the antics that I was hearing I was comforted as I recalled my previous observation:
THOSE WHO TRAFFIC IN ARBITRARY INDICTMENTS AGAINST THIER IDEOLOGICAL ADVERSARIES WILL ALSO PROTECT THEIR IDEOLOGICAL PERMANET FRIENDS USING ARBITRARY DEFENSES
Dr West used "racial invective" to assist getting then Senator Obama elected to the office of the Commander In Chief.
Today Dr West chose to use "racial invective" to CRITICIZE Commander In Chief Obama.
Professor West, like Tavis Smiley is presently BEING BURNED by the creature that they both assisted in nursing to strength. I have not one bit of empathy for either of them in their present travail.
Just imagine things from the view of a NON-PROGRESSIVE/ NON-DEMOCRAT Black?
If they are presently eating their "Progressive Navigators" who had station prior to Obama - JUST IMAGINE how well they accept someone who attempts to critique Obama AND THEMSELVES from a non-Progressive view point?
Smiley-West Need To Start Building The Firewall To The Black Consciousness NOW
If Smiley-West are truly visionaries for the benefit of the Black community they would choose to PUNT. In the present circumstances "JingOism" is a more powerful force than anything they managed to put together after years of collaboration with the Tom Joyner clique and the C-SPAN televised "State Of The Black Union" / "Covenant With Black America" franchise.
In 2017 the Obama era will be over. (Yes I am predicting that Commander In Chief Obama will be reelected BUT this will also be the most IRRELEVANT point in the trajectory of Black Community Development. Instead it will prove to be the "Grand Uncovering" of the truth about Black Community Consciousness. It is now 100% politics - against the warnings of Malcolm X.
My vote in November 2012 will be for "None Of The Above" as STILL I marvel at how Black people are made to react in protection of Obama and against their own Permanent Interests).
I suggest that Smiley-West back off, for now.
Huddle up among your own clique and ACCEPT my previous observation and recommendation that the BLACK COMMUNITY CONSCIOUSNESS NUCLEUS must be protected from any IDEOLOGICAL AND POLITICAL HIJACKING of the Embedded Confidence Men.
Now that they have been bitten by the creature that they have nursed into adult-hood I hope and pray that the Smiley-West clique will see the wisdom and transparency of my recommendations.
2017
When I attended the "Concorde Coalition - Fiscal Wake-Up Tour" about 4 years ago they stated that the year 2016 will be the bewitching year for America. This is the year in which the flurry of "Baby Boomers" begin to retire, taxing our retirement care system in the process.
They did not have the evidence about the fiscal collapse of 2008 at the time of their presentation to make note of the first contractions of the phenomenon that they predicted for our future.
For Black America - the Post-Obama Years will be as noteworthy and dramatic as the years labeled as "Reconstruction". Black people were seen roaming the roads of the South - seeking to reconnect with their family members who had been traded away in years past to other plantations. (I am NOT seeking to exploit the legacy of Slavery for any present political purposes).
It is my opinion that all which has been exposed about the Black Community and our willingness to place our "Permanent Interests" into forbearance in support of something that is more important is going to carry forth, there after, causing others in the future to ignore these interests because they know that we are not serious and are instead up for sale via emotional connections of "vicarious living".
While I reject their leftist-progressive framework - I believe that the Smiley-West Franchise has built up enough credibility in the ranks of Black Progressive per their previous works to stand there to catch this same group of people, once Obama is term limited off of the scene.
My own interests are to have the "Coin Changers Removed From The Temple". If the "Black Permanent Interests" can be protected from the ideological hijacking - this is a net win for my concerns - regardless of the fact that little has changed regarding Black ideological loyalties. Nothing more than the promotion of a defense of the integrity of our "Community Consciousness Core" is a major victory for all. This is merely a reenforcement of the notion of "The Separation Of Church And State"
In as much as these same confidence men have failed to build up the confidence of our people - allowing us to feel fully worthy and COMPETENT - those who stand on stage with a microphone in their hands, feeing the SPIRITUALLY HUNGRY with messages that are appealing to them - the preponderance of this same tired and corrupt message is sufficient enough to lead the Black community on.
I challenge Smiley-West to use this present period in which THEY WERE BITTEN to accept the need for TRANSPARENCY and the protection of our "Community Consciousness Core" lest the same outcomes that are short of our needs are transpired once again.
