Upon attending a "community organizing gathering" in which the libation ceremony in tribute to our ancestors was done to open the forum BUT THEN they spent the majority of the session talking about WHITE PEOPLE (The Tea Party "Threat" to Black people's interests [In Obama getting reelected], The American Elections as the vehicle for expressing the Black Community's opinions against those who wish to SILENCE us and how THEY DON'T WANT Black people to have anything - certainly not power) I was forced to understand that the "Dasani" bottle that the brother used to pour water on the plant during the ceremony was not the only thing "plastic" about the entire event.
When there is a combination of:
- A group of people who assume the stage as "leaders" per the street cred they have received after "Struggle"
- The lack of basic knowledge and respect for INSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE - by which certain desired ends can be accomplished via systematic efforts and management - rather than "Struggle"
- The knowledge that - with the VOID that they have orchestrated per the lack of transparency in all that they do - THEY will never be blamed for the outcomes that fall short of the collective expectations. They simply fixate on a target and drive the "congregational complicity" toward this effort to stay unified.
