Massive protests in Spain
With a favorable Commander In Chief in the White House the Social Justice Advocates see no need to hold a protest in which they demand that their "Permanent Interests" be delivered. They have had protests in front of "Wall Street" and pro-Progressive support rallies in front of the Lincoln Monument but it would be frivolous to expect them to separate their interests from the methodology that they have so abundantly invested in. This would implicitly indicate that they were mistaken.
Just imagine:
- Rampant Unemployment
- A functionally insolvent government making budget cuts
- A favorable left wing government who fails the masses but issues a press release of support for the protesters
- The protesters threatening to sit out the vote as punishment for their failings
One thing is clear - Commander In Chief Obama and the Democrats who are in power nationally and locally have nothing to fear about this type of movement ever taking place against them. Rachel Maddow, et al are working double time to ensure that such protests mounted here are directed at "Republican Governors". They have not yet figured out what to do in states like California who has a favorable governor but who is forced to make massive budget cuts and layoffs - just like their Republican counterparts.
