If you follow the news around Atlanta (and other places WITHIN the Black community) you would know that while these street sings trigger an emotion of pride in Black people because "we" are now represented atop a pole - these two streets in Atlanta - more than most others appear on police homicide reports that are filed to officially register the murder of another Black person - right under the watchful eyes of the "Civil Rights Pharisees" who told us that the community' PRIDE in seeing its heroes up on a pole would have the Street Pirates to stop killing us.
Sadly as we are asked to LOOK UP AT THE SIGNAGE in order to receive our pride in seeing "US" represented - few in the Obama Fist Bump Black Press are interested in peering through the facade - and make note that these COMMEMORATIVE SIGNAGE far too often serve as "red push pins" to mark the grievances and assaults bestowed upon Black people who live in close proximity to these markers.
Above is a collection of "1 To 10 School Performance Ratings" from GreatSchools.net from the Memphis City School District. As I scanned the entire school district I noticed the absence of a bell shaped plot where the major of the schools are a 6 or 7 and then there are a few "1or 2s" and "9 or10s" to even it all out. Instead the performance was skewed toward the lower portion of the curve.
As I do my analysis of "What Makes The Black Community Tick" - the one reoccurring finding that comes about is that the previous struggle to take over the key HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTIONS that defined our previous "Community Development Movement" has now slipped past our collective consciousness after the target of or attention has been "won". In my skepticism of the agenda of those who lead this movement I am convinced that their original goal all along was to place a friendly face in to the seat of power. NOT to follow through and actually obtain the results that they had sold to us. Doing so would require careful coordination from the Black community to support this effort day in and day out. Since it was all a matter of a one day vote and continuing support there after - we can only conclude that they WON but the Black community LOST.

The Obama Fist Bump Black Press Want All Black Americans To Look Into Obama's Eyes And Become Inspired To Achieve Greatness - Fighting Against The Tea Party Forces That Try To Deny Us Our Greatness |
As I reported regarding the Black blogger who was brought to tears when Obama first one office and then again as Obama chose to show the long form of his birth certificate................in the consciousness of the Black Progressive-Fundamentalist in our midst - this is NOT about achieving our permanent interests through the INSTITUTIONS that favorable people now control. Instead they are living VICARIOUSLY through Obama's experiences. If he is not having a good day - they take the anti-depression pills on his behalf.
In the short term this leads to record high and sustained favorability ratings among Black people for Obama. This is merely a subset of the common refrain "YOU will not define our Black Leaders and how we feel about them".
I, a Black man, is convinced that until there is a measurement of the COSTS to the Black community for this disposition - the embedded confidence men within our community will continue to promote this disposition that is favorable to their ideology - since there is no cost born upon their backs. (And the Negro is made happy).
I, a professional Business Consultant, am staring straight at the dysfunction that this "congregational arrangement" produces upon our people. When the results come up short from our expectations - RACISM/CAPITALISM is thrown up as the reason for the results. After all - Tim Wise of Tennessee told us that CAPITALISM needs a poor and ignorant work force to remain at the bottom. With jobs scarce the "Prison Industrial Complex" is always hiring for inmates.
This type of (punk) analysis does nothing more than obfuscate the obligation of the present leadership of the HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTIONS from their obligation to deliver that which was promised to "the Vulnerable Communities" as the quid pro quo for their vote.
Now keep in mind - that I argue that the only thing that this agreement did was to extract the "Equal Black Ballot" out of the "least of these" and build up the machine that dominates Memphis and other place. The real issue that few people want to talk about is the fact that the measurable school reform - where RESULTS will be obtained from the process - IS NOT A MATTER TO BE "VOTED UPON".
The Memphis Schools require adult safe handling:
- A community culture that promotes human resource development via education and respect
- The Parents as the primary managers of their own children's education
- The community applying collective engagement to smooth out any parental deficiencies
- The adult teaching staff performing at their best
- In-class Parental /Adult supervision to maintain discipline
The real fraud that has transpired at the hands of POLITICS has been that the Black community has been duped into the notion that we could VOTE AWAY our problems.
Far more important than the "Separation Of Church and State" is the need to set up a FIREWALL between the "Black Community Consciousness" and the Embedded Confidence Men who seek to procure it in the name of their own political aspirations.
